Research Interests | Human Resource Management (HRM) & organisational performance; Human Resource Development (HRD) & organisational performance; Leadership Styles, HRM and HRD & firm-level innovation performance; International and Comparative HRM and HRD; Strategic HRM; labour market flexibility and firm performance; workplace justice issues, including the impact of workplace bullying on employee well-being and organisational performance; the organisational performance benefits of diversity; and the organisational and employee benefits of firm-level corporate social responsibility (CSR). Labour market issues including youth unemployment, long-term unemployment and discrimination. |
Teaching and Learning | Extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including: small and large group teaching and teaching on specialist and generalist programmes. Extensive teaching experience across disciplines, including strategic management, HRM, micro-, macro- and labour economics, statistics, SPSS and Stata. Extensive experience in the delivery of Executive Education, MBA programmes (in person and on-line), Corporate Executive Development Programmes and international teaching assignments, including leading on international study tours. Erasmus exchange teaching experience. Engagement and leadership on curriculum design, development and assurance of learning. AACSB, AMBA and EPAS accreditation committees. |
