COST Action TU1004 "Modelling Public Transport Flows in the Era of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)”

Description	I promoted and wrote the successful grant application of the COST Action TU1004 “Modelling Public Transport Flows in the Era of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)”. The Action, successfully concluded in 2015, attracted academics, transport agencies and software companies from 21 European countries, and from Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, UAE, USA. My academic standing is proven by the prominent role I played in such a large and qualified research community. Besides being a UK representative in the Management Committee of the Action, I served as leader of one of the three working groups (“Public transport modelling and ITS data”) and coordinator of the more than 40 short-term scientific missions.
