2nd funder - for project ECSB-ISBE Workshop on Minority Entrepreneurship and Social Change

People Involved

Project Description

Minority entrepreneurship represents a growing research field, particularly within critical entrepreneurship studies. Its importance continues to increase alongside rising human mobility and public awareness of diversity despite persistent structural inequalities and the recent challenging climate surrounding DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives and discussions. This workshop aims to draw greater attention to this field by highlighting the often-overlooked role of minority entrepreneurs and businesses as agents of social change.
This workshop will be organised in collaboration with the existing ISBE SIG on Entrepreneurship in Minority Groups (EMG) and the newly established ECSB SocChange SIG. It will foster research partnerships between these two organisations and lay a foundation for a special issue at the nexus of social change and minority entrepreneurship.
