Project Description

Southeast Asia is a region of great potential but faces challenges such as environmental degradation, social inequalities, and demographic shifts due to rapid urbanisation, industrialisation, and population growth. Limited research capacity and global visibility hinder the region's ability to address these issues effectively.

This project aims to bridge these gaps by advancing innovation and sustainability research in Southeast Asia. It focuses on critical areas like environmental resilience, economic growth, social inclusion, and equitable human development, including addressing challenges like aging populations, gender disparities, and poverty. By empowering early career researchers (ECRs) with skills to publish in international journals, the project enhances research capacity and amplifies Southeast Asia's role in solving global challenges.
