We will use the grant to launch a Scottish Armed Forces and Military Research Network platform from which HEI’s, the NHS and key military personnel and stakeholders could identify and develop potential new working partnerships and facilitate interactions. It will promote; undertaking research of high quality, focusing activity in areas of research strength and existing expertise; enhancing research capacity by improvements in the military research infrastructure and developing research skills in the field; being relevant to the needs of the Armed Forces Community in Scotland
