Biography I am a full time Lecturer in the Psychology group. I have keen interests in the fields of creativity, incubation, problem solving, decision making, as well as in cognition and attention generally.

I am a founding member of the UK Creativity Researchers group, and regularly organise events and conferences in collaboration with Dr Gillian Hill (University of Buckingham) and Dr Shelly Kemp (University of Liverpool).
Research Interests Psychology, Cognition, Creativity, Attention, ADHD, Incubation, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Bilingualism.

I supervise three research students with projects in the areas of creativtiy, education, and dyslexia.
Teaching and Learning I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I teach Cognitive Psychology, Current Topics in Psychology, and supervise Honours Projects. I tutor on Social Psychology, and have a guest lecture on Educational Psychology.

I am Programme Leader for BA/BSc (Hons) Psychology.
