I-POS produce an Intelligent Point of Sale application which runs on Apple iPad hardware for use in bars and restaurants. The application generates transaction based sales data and re-ordering data from each user of the system. Whilst individual users may make use of this data, it is not analysed on a global basis. This project will construct an innovative workbench that allows analysis and visualisation of the historical data by factors such as geographical area of consumption, geographical area of supply, supplier or food type.
The tool will allow trends in supply and demand to be identified across I-POS users and opportunities for optimisation of supply and future opportunities for prediction.
