The project will take the form of a systematic review of relevant literature to provide an update on the evidence base on the health needs of people with learning disabilities in Scotland since 2004, and to make new, relevant and action-focused recommendations to improve health outcomes for this population group and reduce the significant health inequalities seen when comparing outcomes for people with learning disabilities against those for the general population.
