Project Description

The aim of the study is to investigate and assess the potential of remote verification inspection (RVI) techniques – specifically ‘live video feed’ - to satisfy reasonable enquiries in line with the requirements of Building Standards legislation (Scotland) for domestic properties. A key feature of the study will be to assess the current uptake of RVI techniques, review RVI technologies and identify barriers to the wider adoption of RVI in Scotland.
