Biography Dr Gosha Wojcik is a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer with dual critical care nursing and public policy background. Her pioneering research centres on utilising behavioural science approaches to combat the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance, aiming to inspire collective action and individual change. Gosha’s doctoral work specifically focused on the development of a theory-driven behaviour change intervention to promote optimal antibiotic use in acute hospitals. She is particularly interested in the development of digital interventions and the use of artificial intelligence for education within healthcare settings.

Alongside her academic position, Gosha holds an Honorary Advanced Research Fellow role in NHS Lothian, where she works on integrating research into clinical practice, particularly focusing on quality improvement in critical care and building research capacity. She also currently leads a Process Evaluation embedded within an NIHR-funded multicentre RCT (SHORTER trial) evaluating whether short-duration antibiotic therapy is non-inferior to the standard of care.
