Biography | Dr Nader Seyedkalali is Lecturer in Business Management (Behavioural & Sustainable Strategic Management) at Edinburgh Napier University Business School. He leads the MSc International Business Management programme and collaborates with the Centre for Business Innovation & Sustainable Solutions. His research shows how managerial cognition, paired with dynamic capabilities, helps UK service‐sector SMEs and public bodies navigate two grand transitions: net-zero/ESG adoption and digital transformation / AI management. By turning behavioural insights into measurable cost, carbon and time savings, his work tackles problems routine data cannot solve. His studies appear in the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research and the Journal of Organisational Change Management and have accrued more than 650 Google Scholar citations. Previously, Dr Seyedkalali was Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at Iran’s Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies, where he founded the Centre for Innovation and Technology Studies. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Cologne and regularly guest-lectured on strategy and organisation at the University of Tehran. At Napier he leads the “International Business” undergraduate module and champions hands-on business-simulation workshops across the Management Department. He has supervised numerous MSc dissertations and PhD theses in Iran and the UK on behavioural strategy, sustainability and digital transformation. He has advised banks, telecoms and public bodies on strategy roadmaps, established Iran’s National Strategy Award, and co-chaired international conferences on strategy and analytics. Beyond academia he is an avid reader of world literature and history. |
