Biography Heba Balatia is Lecturer in Strategy. She holds a PhD degree in Management (International Business and Entrepreneurship) from the University of Glasgow, an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, and a BA (Hons) degree in Business Administration from Birzeit University - Palestine.

Before joining The Business School, Heba worked as an economic and social history tutor for one year and a half at the University of Glasgow, nearly four months as a lecturer in business and management at Essex Business School, and three years and a half as a graduate teaching assistant and a research assistant at University of Glasgow (Adam Smith Business School). She also worked for nearly two years as a lecturer and teaching assistant in business and management at Birzeit University- Palestine.

Heba's research interests are not only limited to the Psychology of the Entrepreneur and SMEs' resilience under conditions of uncertainty, but also research areas related to international entrepreneurship, strategy, and international business.
