SwAP to Care
2020 - 2024

Description A project to nudge women and midwives in Flanders in increasing intentions for midwife-led care, including three main studies: Mixed-methods review exploring and reporting on the utility of behavioural aspects of midwife-led care; translating the Midwifery Unit Network Standards into items, selecting, categorising and validating the items to subsequently distribute these in a cross-sectional study (survey) among Flemish midwives assessing levels of self-efficacy, knowledge and performance of the categories/items; distributing the Dutch version of the OPTION survey among Flemish childbearing women. Charting, mapping and interpreting the results will lead to a thematic framework that will serve to write a position paper to be disseminated among the Flemish childbirth domain.
