Debbie McGirr

Biography	Debbie is a Child Health Nursing lecturer in the School of Health & Social Care. She holds registered nurse qualifications in adult, children's and district nursing and has extensive clinical and educational experience in community children's nursing and paediatric palliative care. Debbie has undertaken an external secondment with NSS as Lead Clinician for the National Managed Clinical Network for Children with Exceptional Needs (NMCN CEN) working across statutory and third sector services and has experience in advising government bodies as part of Strategic working groups representing Children and Young people with palliative care needs and complex needs/disabilities. Debbie is currently External Examiner for the MSc Children's Community Nursing and associated modules at the University of South Wales.
