Biography I am a Civil Engineer (PhD, Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece) and completed my undergraduate studies at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). I then joined University of California, Berkeley, where I completed a post-graduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering, before returning to NTUA for my doctoral studies.
I obtained my PhD under the research program Herakleitos II, under the auspices of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF).
As a PhD student, I have served as an Associate Lecturer for various geotechnical-related modules at the School of Civil Engineering at NTUA.

Following my PhD, I have obtained extensive industrial experience as a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer, working at a consulting firm in Athens, Greece, before joining Napier in 2018.
My research interests focus on the use of ground improvement methods to deal with static and dynamic problems of shallow foundations, with a particular interest on vibration and/or earthquake induced settlements in shallow foundations.
Research Interests Liquefaction; shallow foundations; soil dynamics; soil improvement methods
