Abstract

This series of podcasts explores the topic of career information. It is the product of a collaboration between staff and students in the School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (SCEBE) and the School of Applied Sciences (SAS).

Episode 1 sets the scene and introduces career information (with Pete Robertson and Susan Meldrum).

Episode 2 looks at ‘career information literacy’ – the skills needed to access, understand and act on information about work and learning (with Marina Milosheva).

Episode 3 explores the potential for automated career information and the role of artificial intelligence (with Marianne Wilson).

Episode 4 considers the intersection between career, digital technology, and social justice (with Maria Cecil and Elysha Ramage).
