Abstract
Research on alternative media have often adopted the punk fanzine to establish as teacher. This article intends to return to this finding and explore a wide range of zines and magazines questioning the usual equation between professionalism and standardization. The values of challenge put forward by the fanzinat not found always in the same media type, and the critical involvement of some publications falling a priori not one fanzine should be considered for a redefinition of categories of the alternative press.
