To record beverage choice, place of purchase and price paid by ill drinkers seen at alcohol problems services in Edinburgh and Glasgow Hospital (general and psychiatric) over a three year period in order to monitor any impact on this group of the introduction of a minimum unit price (MUP) for the sale of alcohol in Scotland.
