Walks and Waterfalls is a multi-channel interactive project intended to design and roadmap a blended experience between a fine art photography book, a mobile augmented reality app and physical locations around Scotland.
It brings a unique approach to tourism in effect providing both a new way of discovering the great out doors, whilst at the same time providing historical cultural and artistic context thus widening the market.
By using a multi-media approach combining website, printed media and interactive app, Walks and Waterfalls presents a unique and innovative trans-media user experience offering incentives and rewards through an online platform to encourage user participation.
