Prudence Risk Culture: Does it Drive Robust Sustainability Strategies?

People Involved

Project Description

This project will evaluate the hypothesis that organisations with a strong prudence risk culture demonstrate more robust sustainability strategies. Specifically, it investigates if prudence drives proactive climate risk management and influences sustainability across operations, leadership, product, and service innovation, etc. Strategic reference point theory suggests prudence leads to proactive identification of climate risks, while stakeholder theory posits it encourages long-term thinking and consideration of all stakeholders' well-being in decision-making.
