A unique coating process has been developed for applications in environmentally challenging environments, in particular for the oil and gas industry. The University will investigate the feasibility of the technology application in an upstream and down stream environment by looking at basic characterisation, testing and engineering applications whilst defining the resulting technology development and a detailed characterisation for prototyping. This will then inform a larger programme of prototyping through to early stage manufacture.
