Le Corbusier's Chapel of Notre-Dame du Haut in Ronchamp, France, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most significant buildings of the 20th century. Invited to present my work in the space, a privilege granted few, this research will see the creation of a new composition for bass flute, soprano and cello that responds to the materiality, light and design of the space. With multiple performances of the work in the chapel, this research will fulfil the architect's unrealised goal of bringing "Ronchamp to perfection", through the inclusion of music.
