Project Description
Bike reflectors use properties of transparent plastic materials to transmit incident light through prisms specifically designed to reflect the light. The project entails optimising the current bike reflector designs to potentially, reduce the amount of plastic material used and/or make use of more sustainable materials, such as biobased materials to improve the CO2 footprint of the bike reflectors. This should be achieved whilst ensuring the bike reflectors comply with any applicable industry standards and achieve this cost effectively.
