A realist evaluation of the implementation of a Continuous Intervention Policy in inpatient mental health services in Scotland.
NHS Boards in Scotland are implementing new observation policies in line with the Healthcare Improvement Scotland guidance ‘From observation to intervention’ published in 2019. My proposal is to evaluate the implementation and impact of the new policy in inpatient mental health care in NHS Lothian using realist methodology.
