Project Description

The main objectives of this project include: 1) completion of the full-scale pre-stressed Bamboo-Timber Composite Beam prototype with the support of manufacturing expertise and capacity from the industry; 2) convert the novel and effective structural concepts of pre-stressing and the Bamboo-Timber Composite into the teaching materials for an MSc module; 3) complete the patent application with the knowledge, know-how and technical information obtained in the production trial at industrial scale.
