Dr Tim Burrows
Biography | I am a lecturer who has successfully developed and delivered teaching material in accounting, management accounting, finance, audit and governance. Before lecturing at Edinburgh Napier University, I spent more than ten years in professional education with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, teaching to Masters level. I also have professional qualifications (CA and CISI membership) and practical experience, having worked as an auditor in the public and private sectors and as a private client investment manager. I am also experienced in assessment of the material, both writing and marking, as well as the development of online learning material. My research to date relates to pensions. My DBA thesis examined the pension choices people make, what information they use, and who they trust to provide it. |
