Biography Rowan Steele is an HRM Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University. Prior to this position she was a teaching assistant at Stirling University whilst undertaking her PhD on a Horizon funded studentship. She has extensive practice experience in the HR arena with a specialism in organisational change. She achieved her PhD in 2017 which focused upon the social identity of social care managers.
Research Interests Her research interests focus upon three key areas explored during her PhD; social identity theory (SIT), critical realism (CR) and social care. In the future she hopes to continue her research on CR and SIT, specifically with regard to the impact on change and change management.
Teaching and Learning Rowan currently teaches in the key are of HRM with a focus on organisational change management.
