I am a public health researcher with more than a decade of expertise in leading projects on baseline assessments, monitoring and evaluation of infectious diseases (including HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, COVID-19, and Sexually transmitted infections), health interventions (including sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), sexual and gender-based violence, health nutrition, and substance abuse) among various populations groups (adolescents and teenagers, young people and older adults). I have a strong background in providing technical assistance and support to civil society organisations, the World Health Organisation, the United Nations agencies, the Global Fund, and the Ministry of Health in Lesotho.
I have 17 years of expertise in health professions (nursing and allied health) education, training, and research supervision (undergraduate and postgraduate). I have 28 completed MSc studentships and 1 PhD studentship in progress. I have led courses taught in full-time, part-time, and distance and online learning modes, and I have externally examined research projects for the Master of Public Health programme. My key strengths include programme design, process implementation, curriculum design and development, and quality assurance and evaluation.
My research interests are health promotion, baseline assessments, implementation of interventions, monitoring and evaluation, and health services quality to improve health outcomes. I aim to contribute to health professions education through quality assurance in higher education.
