Biography Leila is a Lebanese-Swedish academic with dual nursing and philosophy training. Her doctoral dissertation explored the theoretical and empirical intersection of normative ethics, emancipation-oriented healthcare provision, responsibility/blame, agential capacities, (forensic) psychiatric contexts, and mental illness. She is currently interested in reproductive ethics, philosophy of pregnancy and birth, and obstetrics violence.
