Biography I am a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University since August 2022. Prior to joining ENU, I worked as a Lecturer at the University of Bolton (Dec-2020 to Jul-2022). I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University (2010-2013). I received the prestigious Zienkiewicz scholarship for my PhD at Swansea University. After my PhD, I worked as a research officer and Research Software Engineer on several industry-funded projects in computer modelling and simulation at Swansea University.

I am currently a member of the UKACM board and ASME UK Section leadership team. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I taught various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering at Swansea and Bolton. Currently, I teach UG and PG courses at ENU.

My research work focusses on cutting-edge simulation techniques for multi-physics problems in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, fluid-structure interaction and electro-magneto-mechanics. I proposed state-of-the-art simulation frameworks for fluid-structure interaction, incompressible solid mechanics, electromechanics, magnetomechanics and morphoelasticity. My expertise also includes research software development for FEA, CFD and Multiphysics, including parallelisation for HPC. I published several single-author and first-author papers in prestigious international journals. I regularly peer-review articles for international journals in the field.
