Dr Emile Shemilt
| Biography | Emile Shemilt studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, University of Oxford, and attained his PhD from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee. He was a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellow, and a visiting European Research Fellow with the department of Philosophy, Communication and Performing Arts, University of Roma Tre, Rome, Italy. His specialisms are in moving image and photography, having undertaken academic research with the Arts and Humanities Research Council, covering the histories and theories of British and European video art and experimental film. |
