Project Title Stakeholders’ Perceptions on Informal Public Transport: An Exploration of Impacts of Urban Growth on Quality of Service in Ibadan, Nigeria
Project Description The research investigated the quality of service (QoS) of informal public transport (IPT) in an urban area based on the perceptions of the stakeholders. A multi-criteria evaluation model for the quality of service (QoS) of IPT was developed. In addition, a focus group participatory GIS approach was used to analyse the variations in perceptions and were captured spatially. Results from this research ascertained the potential of IPT as an adaptive mode of transport to enhance the wellbeing of the people.
