Alistair Wallace

Biography	I am the Research Contracts Manager, managing the contracts team within RIE. I, along with the Research Contracts Officer, deal with review, negotiation and concluding of a wide variety of contracts relating to the University’s research, innovation and knowledge exchange activities. Amongst others, this includes confidentiality agreements (NDAs), research collaboration agreements, consultancy and CPD agreements, data sharing agreements and studentship agreements. We also assist other teams in RIE in reviewing funding terms as part of application and tender processes. I have been at Napier since 2019, firstly as a Contracts Officer before being appointed to my current role in January 2024. Prior to joining Napier, I worked as a solicitor in private practice with two large commercial law firms in Edinburgh.
