Biography Suki joined Edinburgh Napier University in 2018 as a Lecturer in Accountancy. She has previously taught professional ACCA and CIMA examinations at the Richard Clarke Academy and lectured HND Accounting at Edinburgh College.

Suki graduated from University of Glasgow in 2006 with a BAcc degree and a Masters in Economic policy. Suki's career background has been colourful, she has extensive private practice taxation experience across personal, corporate and international tax. Having started her career in Glasgow she trained with an SME before moving to KPMG, where she became ATT qualified and furthered her skills and knowledge within taxation. Suki moved to London to expand her skillset and worked as a senior tax adviser in Soho, dealing with clients from the entertainment industry. She also got a taste for partnership tax at a Magic Circle Law firm before returning to Scotland and making the move across to lecturing, something she has been passionate about since training junior staff in her time in practice.

Suki is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). With a background in taxation and economics Suki is currently in second year of her PhD, where her research involves fiscal policy interventions and circular business models.
