Mr. Colin McLelland

Biography Colin’s background is in physiotherapy, sports injuries and sports science / performance and brings experience of both professional sport, private practice and academia.

Colin has experience of high level sport as player, coach and as physiotherapist and has worked with a number of National and International athletes as well previously being the Head Physiotherapist for Hibernian Football Club for some 8 years, and consulting for a number of other clubs in both Scotland and Norway.

Colin also works with a number of other National and Internationally recognised athletes in a number of sporting disciplines - with his focus being on injury prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and performance.

As well working in sport, Colin also owns and is MSK clinical lead for a number of private practice clinics within Edinburgh. Within these practices Colin works with a number of patients with a number of conditions, and blends an holistic and functional approach to his treatment - ensuring the patient is at the centre.

Colin is an experienced academic and Fellow of the Higher educational Academy, and prior to joining Edinburgh Napier University, was lecturer at Robert Gordon University for 6 years - working predominately on the MSc (pre reg) and DPT programmes - where he was the MSK and exercise specialist.

Colin is both HCPC and CSP registered.
