Biography Tom has worked at Edinburgh Napier since 2014. He arrived here from lecturing at the Adam Smith College for 6 years. He also has been heavily involved in the playing and management of hockey at international level for many years.

Since starting here, he has achieved his Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship and has completed his PhD. My teaching covers all disciplines by leading on Anatomy and Physiology, Skill Acquisition and Application of Science to Sport and Exercise. Also, he supervisors final year projects. Furthermore, he leads on modules taught with our partner institutions abroad.
Research Interests My interested are in neuromuscular training and injury prevention. I am also interested in injury surveillance and in the application of this knowledge.
Teaching and Learning I teach and module lead anatomy and physiology, skill acquisition and application of science to sport and exercise. I also supervise dissertations and module lead anatomy and physiology at our partner institution in Singapore.
