Biography | Dr Anna Bak-Klimek is a lecturer and researcher. She is a Chartered Psychologist (Teaching & Research Route) and has teaching and research expertise in mental health of vulnerable populations. Areas of research expertise include systematic reviews, quantitative research approaches and mixed methods. She is passionate about adapting and developing psychological interventions for improving mental health of populations affected by long-term health conditions (e.g. cancer) and developmental disabilities. She currently supervises 4 PhD students in the area of mental health and interventions development (in mental health and educational settings). Anna also has qualifications in cognitive-behavioural therapy and has knowledge and experience in delivering psychological interventions to migrant and student populations. She constantly develops her knowledge and skills in the area of psychological therapies through volunteering as a CBT therapist and attending regular CPD events |
