It examines both concepts highlighting gaps in academia and offering causal links surrounding the employee experience within organisations. Norton House Hotel and Spa, a member of Hand Picked Hotels, was the focal case study for this study with the brand behaviours of the organisation considered in terms of how they impact and inspire individuals. This exposed the key role management must play in inspiring and motivating individuals, however currently this role is not being fully utilised. Additional key drivers of employee engagement, such as the organisation and communication were explored, which revealed interesting findings and these have been explored through the research analysis and recommendations. Nevertheless the employer branding strategy within Norton House Hotel and Spa does have a huge impact upon individuals and demonstrates a number of strong characteristics of the concept, which is supported by the fact that 77% of employees feel engaged with the organisation, with a tremendous 91.6% committed to achieving the goals of Hand Picked.
