| Description | American College of Sports Medicine is the largest international society in the area of exercise and health with over 50,000 members. I was voted as Chair of the Cancer Special Interest Group. This group consists of >400 cancer exercise researchers from students to Professors who meet each year at the ACSM conference. We communicate during the year by newsletters and twitter conference (which reached 450300 unique users) and get external funding from companies to provide awards for best posters / presentations at the ACSM conference. I also am on the panel to decide with symposia, lectures and tutorials in the area of cancer and exercise are accepted for the conference |
