Project Title	The effect of work on the food intake and feeding behaviour of water buffalo and cattle
Project Description	An in vivo study of the effect that work had on dry matter intake of cattle and water buffalo was carried out at the Centre of Tropical Veterinary Medicine, Edinburgh University. Additionally compensatory mechanisms for loss of feeding time during hors worked were investigated. Cattle and buffalo were found to get more quickly when worked than when they were given 24 hour access to food.
