Description in her LILAC 2025 conference keynote, Professor Jane Secker (https://www.citystgeorges.ac.uk/about/people/academics/jane-secker) praised the 'Information Literacy and Society' report.

She later said 'The MILA: Information Literacy and Society report impacted on my practice as it was clear to me that the information literacy community needs to do more work to collaborate and build the evidence base for the impact of their work. I included a reference to the report in a recent keynote at LILAC2025 as I really wanted the community to try and come together and recognise that our teaching practices are vitally important, but currently we have a limited evidence base for how they impact on society, given much of the evidence comes from the higher education sector. I would like to try and work with MILA and ILG to see what can be done to address the issues highlighted in the report..'
