Abstract

The purpose of this Wood Information Sheet (WIS) is to summarise the characteristics, and the current and potential uses, of timber grown in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), which we also refer to in this WIS as ‘British-grown timber’, ‘British timber’ and ‘home-grown timber’.
