Kenny, T.; Anthony, D.; Charissis, V.; Darawish, Y.; Keir, P.
Abstract
[Book abstract: This important collection of papers from a conference organised by the University of Sussex presents you with twenty-four papers, which Peter Childs and Richard Stobart have collectively drawn together. They present you with distinct areas of automotive design and engineering in order to broaden the perspectives of designers frequently engaged in narrow, specialized activities and therefore, contribute to the advancement of vehicle technology. The papers individually address aspects of vehicle dynamics and control; control and design of the power train; vehicle safety; human centered design; environmental vehicle propulsion; vehicle design; experimental techniques; control systems technology.
