Abstract
This paper presents the evolution of our automotive fullwindshieldHUD interface offering a faster and simplifiedinterface that enhances driver's spatial awareness under lowvisibility. The system is evaluated in contrast to existing HDD by45 users in motorway collision scenarios under adverse weatherconditions. The derived results demonstrate a clear advantage ofthe HUD interface in contrast to the HDD.
