Abstract
This paper is an attempt to guide the future researchers who want to utilize the SWOT as a method to understand a particular energy industry of a country. This study is the pioneer in the domain of SWOT analysis in the energy research, as it strategizes options which a researcher may count to understand the overall scenario of a particular energy industry. The main focus of the research is on the scientific assessment of SWOT analysis and this research is a methodological guide that would be extremely beneficial for researchers who wish to conduct research on specific energy industries to understand the entire situation.
