Abstract

In this post I would like to draw readers’ attention to the issue of how Eurovision is entangled with sexual politics in the new EUrope: how it sometimes is used as the marker of gay rights and freedoms vs. homophobia, as a rainbow-coloured symbol of difference between the ‘West’ and the ‘East’ of Europe.
