Abstract
Review of Institute Progress (igov): Strategic level project testing governance arrangement for 7 Research Institutes and benchmark against 6 UK wide HEIs. Undertook qualitative research, matching with HESA data and management accounts. Reporting to university Principal to inform university-wide strategic direction (September 2011-March 2012).

Additional Information | Report commissioned by Edinburgh Napier Executive Team 2011 The Review examined key issues affecting the area of research and commercial activity related to the role of the Institutes and their relationship with the Faculties. A study was also carried oun on a group of high performing (in terms of commercial activity) post-92 universities to compare and contrast commercialisation strategy, operations, performance and facilities with those at Edinburgh Napier.
