RCUK open access block grant allocation 2013-18 (v2)

Abstract

Compilation of RCUK open access block grant allocations for five years, 2013/14 to 2017/18.* These funds were distributed to UK research institutions in order to pay article processing charges (APCs) to make RCUK-funded research outputs open access. The dataset includes figures for the amount provided to each eligible institution in each year. For year five (2017/18), the payments began to be made by RCUK every six months, so an additional sheet in the dataset shows the breadown into twice-yearly payments.
