Abstract
Java has become a development platform that has migrated from its initial focus for small form devices, to large full scale desktop and server applications and finally back to the small in the form of Java enabled mobile phones. Here we discuss the necessary requirements to convert the existing JCSP framework so that it can be used in these resource constrained systems. We also provide some performance comparisons on various platforms to evaluate this implementation.
