Abstract

This is a qualitative longitudinal study of homeless young people in Dublin city. The research adopted a pathways approach and set out to document, record and understand temporal change in the homeless experience over time. A core aim was to generate in-depth understanding of the process of youth homelessness, with a particular focus on young people’s trajectories into,
through and out of homelessness. The study also aimed to inform policy-relevant recommendations related to service provision, early intervention and the prevention of negative outcomes.
